IMHO, nothing beats the feel and usefulness of a hard copy publication (I tend to be biased when it comes to printed materials). However, we recently found something that caught our interest.
We stumbled across an electronic publishing company (Issue) that comes pretty close to the look of printed publications. Issue allows the viewer to flip through the digital pages like a real publication. Individual pages can printed from a laser/color printer as well. Pretty cool, and the best part…. it’s FREE! Recent projects, including some of our award winning publications, are available online through issue.
There are many benefits of posting our publications online. The biggest is having the flexibility to access these materials from anywhere in the world, at any time. This can be extremely useful for recruiters, faculty and prospective students to name a few. So far, we are very impressed.
